American Acupuncture Foundation |
|
"Creating
a solid knowledge foundation."
The
aim of the American Acupuncture Foundation is to provide comprehensive
information on acupuncture and to actively support the expansion of knowledge
on this subject.
There is a lot of catching up to do in this area, at least in our part
of the world. Even though acupuncture is thousands of years old, Western
medicine has only begun more intensively researching possible areas of
application for it in the past 30 years.
The foundation pursues its goals through a variety of activities:
- With this website, it provides an objective information platform
for publishing new findings and research results.
- It organizes scientific events and conducts targeted press and
PR work in order to help the general public gain a better understanding
of acupuncture and its possibilities.
- It supports organizations and individuals involved in acupuncture,
especially in science and research.
The
American Acupuncture Foundation is
not only a forum for physicians and scientists to actively exchange
technical information. By posting comprehensive and straightforward
topical information, it also serves as a means for patients and the
interested public to expand their knowledge of the subject of acupuncture.
The American Acupuncture Foundation is a private non-profit foundation
based in Boston (MA).
